Island Breeze Staff

Island Breeze Saskatchewan has a permanent staff based in Balcarres. Throughout the year this team is supplemented by former Island Breezers, First Nations folks, Metis, friends, and volunteers as the team goes on outreach, visits reserves, serves at churches, or is involved in regular celebrations (weddings, funerals, rugby games or anywhere else there is food).

Lima and Alison haves served with YWAM since the late 90’s. They first met at a YWAM discipleship training school. Alison grew up on the Peepeekisis reserve just a couple of kilometres from the Balcarres base. They have two wonderful kids – Pele and Makoa.


staff17Mark and Lucy recently joined the team one week after their wedding in New Zealand. With a heart for, and training in working with at-risk youth they are a real asset to the team.


Davidson & CassieDavidson has been a member of the team for over 5 years. recently married to Cassie, their wedding was a celebration of Island culture.


Walesi 11Walesi (Wallace) recently joined the team, coming  from Samoa. The day he arrived in Canada it was -37C!


staff15Bryan Fialua is of Samoan heritage, but grew up in ¬†Australia. He’s been a long term member of the team and loves Canada’s First Nations people.
