Island Breeze Saskatchewan is led by Lima Nanai. Moving to Canada in the late ’90s from Samoa, Lima developed a gigantioc heart for Canada’s First nations people. Like all Samoans Lima loves to laugh. Lima has a deep understanding of First Nations issues and has friendships across Canada with First Nations leaders, youth and kokums (grandmothers) and families.
Based in Balcares, Saskatchewan, Lima is married to Alison (of Peepeekisis First Nation) and has two great kids – Pele and Makoa.
Island Breeze Saskatchewan serves in Canada under the leadership of Youth With a Mission as one of over 15 ministries teams a
cross Canada. For regular advice Island Breeze leadership turns to an informal Advisory Council made of interested and committed Canadians. Each of them has a heart of compassion for our First Nations, a desire to serve and help Island Breeze, wisdom and insight, and has a proven track record of voluntary leadership.
